Sharing the Work with Your Collaborators

A concert is too much for one person. Concert Planner lets you hand work out and still know where it all stands.

Helpers see only what they need

A helper given a task, or a workstream, sees that and nothing more. They are not faced with two hundred tasks when they have three, so the work is less overwhelming. They can add notes and mark their own tasks done.

Roles

Each person holds a role in the organisation or the concert, such as super-user, concert manager or assistant concert manager. A role carries a set of rights: to view, create, edit, add notes, mark done, sign off or administer, in each area: contacts, roles, concerts, media and tasks.

The concert manager is in control

  • Permissions on the concert gives, changes or takes away anyone's role.
  • A person can be given a right beyond their role, or have one taken away, without changing their role. A right taken away holds even on a task they are responsible for.
  • Each organisation can change what its own roles may do.
  • A workstream can be made My eyes only, so it is seen by its owner and nobody else.

Sign-off stays with the manager

Helpers mark their tasks done; the concert manager signs them off. Nothing is finished until the person responsible for the concert says so.

Where: open the concert, then Permissions.
